Recently, a research paper titled “Synthesis and Application Properties of Superdispersants for Liquid Fluorescent Whitening Agents,” produced by the joint laboratory of Hongyi Chemical and Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, was published in *Printing and Dyeing* (Issue 7, 2026), a specialized journal in the field of textile printing and dyeing in China.

Liquid fluorescent brighteners are prone to stability issues such as particle agglomeration and sedimentation during long-term storage. To address this challenge, the research team designed and synthesized a polycarboxylic acid-based superdispersant and applied it to an ER-type liquid fluorescent brightener system, systematically investigating its effects on dispersion performance, storage stability, and application efficacy.





Research has shown that by optimizing the structure of the dispersant, the AHT2400-7 superdispersant exhibits excellent overall performance.
Liquid fluorescent whitening agents prepared using this dispersant achieved an average particle size of 180 nm, resulting in a more uniform dispersion; the system maintained good stability even after 35 days of standing. In whitening applications on polyester fabrics, the whiteness value reached 96.19, demonstrating excellent whitening effects and application performance.
These research findings further validate the application value of super-dispersants in the field of liquid fluorescent whitening agents and provide a reference for improving the stability and performance of liquid whitening agent products.
